MONIQUE THE ACTOR.

“Monique A. Robinson is a gifted and skilled storyteller; when she is  onstage, you will have a stronger understanding of the story. She brings you into the world created through character and when she exits the stage, she leaves you wanting more.”

- Kalif Troy (Director of WaDe N’Da WaTer)

Bold. Sprightly. Quick-Witted. A gentle powerhouse, with a deep well of emotion. Are phrases that perfectly paint the picture of classically trained actor Monique A. Robinson.

Monique is passionate about portraying dynamic women of the African Diaspora and the complexity and uniqueness of Black Culture. When casting think ”a young Tracee Ellis Ross meets Condola Rashâd.”

Regionally, she’s worked with: Oregon Shakespeare Festival, Berkeley Repertory Theatre, and Shakespeare & Company. Monique’s onscreen work can be seen on Netflix, TV Land, and CBS AllAccess.
